Yeah "sam" and others of your ilk, we need to continue blaming the messengers for the bumbling Cubs' endless misadventures. Steve Stone dares to venture an opinion contrary to the party line -- at various times questioning the competency and effort of the upstairs management, dugout management, and field "talent" -- so he must go. This type of attitude is just emblematic of a larger disease in this downward-spiraling country full of blindly patriotic sheep. Things going badly in Iraq? President a lying, underhanded, incompetent chump? Let's attack the patriotism of anyone who dares question the wisdom and intentions of the current leadership.
